The reason it's not really about mobile is:
- Users of 'mobile' devices often aren't mobile (see iPad user trends survey blog post)
- The principles of preparing you content for mobile will also have you more ready for future devices which may turn out to be less movable than your desktop PC (fridge, anyone?)
