A short e-book covering three key attributes of user centred design. If you prefer a narrative storytelling approach to the textbook theory type, this is worth a look.
The book concludes with a flowchart which does a great job of illustrating the ideal process of design.
In the rush to get a website or application built, too often analysis of the opportunity is lacking and thinking through the context of use based on shaky assumptions. Personally, I prefer Jesse James Garrett's Elements of User Experience diagram, but this is great too, coming at the user centred design process from a different angle.
